Tangerine announces new customer signing, Tri-Tex co. inc.

September 23, 2011 - Tangerine Software is pleased to announce the signing of Tri-Tex co. inc. to a Sage ERP X3 License Agreement for the fully integrated suite of Sage ERP X3 manufacturing, distribution and financial applications. The agreement also includes Tangerine's Nectari Business Intelligence software and The Formulator, a formula management solution.

Tri-Tex (www.tritex.com), headquartered in Saint- Eustache, Quebec is a Canadian-based leader in the global chemical industry. For over 70 years Tri-Tex has prided itself in providing high quality products and superior customer service.

Tri-Tex's management team performed a detailed review of their operations in early 2011, evaluating the company's business processes and outdated software systems. "It was obvious that significant change was needed ", states Natalie Laham, VP Finance and Administration. "Many areas of our operations were fragmented, not integrated, and we were too dependent on spreadsheets and manual effort to run our business. We knew that it was time to invest in a new enterprise software solution."

Several potential vendors were included in Tri-Tex's initial ERP selection process, which lasted more than 6 months. "We evaluated some very good and not so good solutions", states Natalie. "We shortlisted 2 candidates in August and made our final decision in mid-September, to partner with Tangerine Software and Sage's Sage ERP X3 solution. Our decision was based on our trust and confidence in Tangerine Software's consultants and executive. Their overall knowledge of the chemical and process industry in general, gave us confidence in their ability to service and support Tri-Tex's current and future business software needs. As important was the excellent functional and technical fit of the Sage ERP X3 solution. Its core functionality is well suited for process manufacturers like us."
