RBF International selects Sage ERP X3

January 24, 2011 - Tangerine Software is pleased to announce the signing of RBF International Ltd. to a Sage ERP X3 software license agreement that includes the fully integrated suite of X3 distribution, process manufacturing and financial software applications, as well as Tangerine’s Nectari Business Intelligence solution.

RBF International Ltd. ( www.rbf.qc.ca ), headquarter in St-Jérôme, Quebec, is a leading provider of high quality chemical products for the pool and spa industry, in North America.

RBF International conducted a review of its overall operations in early 2010, including an evaluation of its business software applications. It was apparent that RBF could no longer maintain its innovative and competitive advantage without investing in an advanced and fully integrated new ERP solution. "Some of our inventory, planning and accounting processes were being managed in spreadsheets", states Stéphane Arseneault, General Manager at RBF International. "Following our internal review and evaluation, we provided our software requirements to a number of qualified ERP vendors, including Tangerine Software."

The selection process started in late October and took six weeks to complete. "We were very pleased with Tangerine's consultative approach in working with us", states Stéphane. "Their knowledge of our industry and the quality of their presentations was very impressive. We liked the look and feel of the Sage ERP X3 software and the depth of its integrated function. The ability to access and report on information with Tangerine's Nectari BI solution was also very important to us. We also recognized that Sage ERP X3 is widely used in the chemical industry."
